Tottenham are discussing whether to allow Japhet Tanganga to leave on loan to West Brom.
The 21-year defender was an unused substitute in Sunday's 1-0 defeat against Brighton despite Jose Mourinho shuffling his back line and starting with three centre backs.
Mourinho is unsure about allowing the England U20 international to leave as he may need him as cover but Tanganga is keen to play regularly and gain vital experience which he believes he will gain at West Brom.
Sam Allardyce will bring in midfielder Okay Yokuslu from Celta Vigo on Monday but has resigned himself to missing out on Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
