Stoke City beat Championship leaders West Brom 1-0 on Friday thanks to a late strike from Nick Powell.
Midfielder Powell latched on to a chipped pass from Tommy and lobbed Baggies keeper Sam Johnstone to score the only goal of the game in the 79th minute, giving Stoke a deserved victory taking them into third in the standings, one point behind West Brom.
Johnstone had saved an earlier penalty from Sam Surridge but was helpless to keep out Powell's delicate chip.
