Sporting director Nestor named West Brom president

West Bromwich Albion have named sporting director Andrew Nestor as the club's new president.

Nestor, who was appointed to his current role last summer, will now be responsible for "all club functions" as he combines both jobs in a restructured leadership team.

The Championship club have also appointed chief operating officer Ashish Patel as chief marketing officer and Ethan Gobetz as chief financial officer in the new set-up.

Nestor, a former director at Italian side Bologna and president, chief executive and general manager of the Tampa Bay Rowdies, is CEO of Bilkul Football Group, Albion's parent club, and was involved with owner Shilen Patel's takeover of Albion in February 2024.
