Semi Ajayi earned plenty of plaudits for his performance at the heart of Nigeria’s defence as they drew 1-1 with Brazil in Singapore on Sunday.
The Albion defender completed 90 minutes as he helped his side gain a very creditable result against the South Americans, who had the likes of Neymar, Roberto Firmino, Gabriel Jesus, Thiago Silva and Ederson in their line-up.
It was actually Nigeria who took the lead through Rangers’ Joe Aribo early on, but they were pegged back by Casemiro’s strike just after the break.
