Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Chris Wilder can mentally handle pressure despite Sheffield United's Premier League misery as Manchester United boss sympathises with fired West Brom manager Slaven Bilic

Chris Wilder is mentally strong enough to handle the pressure surrounding his future at Sheffield United, says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Slaven Bilic became the first managerial casualty in the Premier League this season on Wednesday, and Wilder is also feeling the heat after picking up six fewer points than the West Brom boss with his team winless at the bottom of the table.

Solskjaer was sacked by Cardiff in 2014 after failing to keep the club in the Premier League and knows how difficult life can be for the smaller clubs.
