Martin Keown labels West Bromwich Albion a 'disaster' since Sam Allardyce took charge as Arsenal legend believes Baggies boss 'wishes he was sat by the fire' instead of taking the reigns at strugglers

Martin Keown believes Sam Allardyce 'wishes he was sat by the fire' instead of in the dugout as the new West Bromwich Albion boss oversaw another defeat for the Premier League strugglers.

Allardyce, 66, arrived at The Hawthorns last month, taking the reigns from Slaven Bilic with the club in the relegation mire having returned to the top flight from the Championship.

However, the veteran manager's arrival has not yielded a transformation of results for the West Midlands side, with Allardyce winless in his first four games in charge, shipping 13 goals in the process.
