Liverpool star Diogo Jota ruled out for the rest of the top four chase in blow for Jurgen Klopp ahead of crucial final three games after suffering foot injury in victory at Manchester United

Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has been ruled out for the rest of the season due a foot injury, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed.

Jota picked up the problem in the pulsating 4-2 victory over Manchester United on Thursday and, as a result, was absent from the club's crunch clash at West Brom.

In his pre-match press duties, Klopp revealed that the issue is 'not too serious', although the winger will sit out the rest of his team's top-four push.
