Kick It Out says it did reach out to Jonathan Leko after Kiko Casilla racist abuse

Kick It Out chief Troy Townsend admitted he had let Jonathan Leko down after the West Brom winger said he was not properly supported after suffering racial abuse.

Leeds goalkeeper Kiko Casilla has been banned for eight matches after he was found guilty of shouting 'you f****** n*****' at Leko during a Championship fixture on September 28 at Charlton, where Leko was on loan.

Leko, 20, launched a remarkable attack on the handling of his case in a statement made through West Brom, and said the process had made him think twice about reporting any future incident of racial abuse.
