Jurgen Klopp 'did not expect West Brom to play in a 6-4 formation' but Liverpool boss admits 'it was our own fault' after champions were frustrated by Sam Allardyce's stubborn side in draw

Jurgen Klopp said Liverpool were at fault for their frustrating 1-1 draw with relegation-threatened West Brom in the Premier League.

Sadio Mane's early opener for the hosts was cancelled out by a second half Semi Ajayi header as Sam Allardyce's side defended well against the league champions.

Klopp revealed that he was not prepared for the Baggies to sit so deeply, claiming they lined up with six midfielders ahead of four defenders, but did admit that it was their 'own fault' for not taking three points.
