Jose Mourinho said he felt referee Anthony Taylor got a controversial call on Salomon Rondon right in Manchester United's 2-0 win against West Brom on Saturday, while Tony Pulis thought Zlatan Ibrahimovic might have seen red for a first-half challenge.
Taylor only gave Ibrahimovic a yellow card after he plowed over West Brom's Craig Dawson in the 24th minute, with the home support calling for a straight red after the violent collision.
Later in the match, with United 2-0 up, a tame second half got lively after 65 minutes when Rondon and Marcos Rojo clashed. The South Americans exchanged words after a heavy challenge from the West Brom striker, who could then count himself fortunate not to be sent off after first pushing Rojo in the chest and then slapping the United defender across the face.
