West Bromwich Albion, with the ink freshly dried on new owner Shilen Patel’s completion of his newly signed deal, take on a club in Coventry City who went through the same experience just over a year ago. And, in terms of what the new owners inherited, there are obvious similarities.
Like Doug King did at Coventry, so Patel has come in to inherit a club from vastly unpopular predecessors – on the back of a lot of protests from upset fans.
