Albion U18s 3 Scunthorpe U18s 0

Albion Under-18s progressed to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win against Scunthorpe United at The Hawthorns on Tuesday evening.

Peter Gilbert's side gained a two-goal advantage after just ten minutes, which provided a platform for a convincing victory.

The first goal was created by Rico Richards, who picked up the ball just inside the visitors’ half and travelled all the way into the box before releasing a low effort into the corner of the net.

Minutes later, Jamie Andrews’ corner found Richards, who flicked a header onto Jovan Malcolm to nod in the Baggies’ second of the evening.
