Albion’s PL2 side secured a second victory this week with a comfortable win against Sunderland at The Hawthorns on Friday night.
The young Baggies, who beat Fulham 3-1 on Monday, helped themselves to six PL2 points in four days thanks to braces from Chris Willock and Jamie Soule, while individual efforts from Rayhaan Tulloch and Finn Azaz added to the advantage.
Michael Appleton made just one change from his team on Monday, with Josh Griffiths replacing Brad House in goal.
Albion fired in an early opener as Soule capitalised on a misplaced pass before an exchange with Willock left him free to tuck home into an open net.
