West Brom FC transfer news: Tony Pulis still keen on Odion Ighalo but deal with Watford unlikely

West Brom are keen to sign Watford striker Odion Ighalo, but face an uphill battle to secure his signature before the transfer window closes.

The Baggies want to bring in the 27-year-old as a direct replacement for Saido Berahino, who joined Stoke City earlier in the window.

There is significant distance between the two parties over fee, though, and Watford favour a sale of Ighalo in the summer rather than this month.

According to reports, West Brom's offer sits between £10m and £11m, while Watford want in excess of £15m for the Nigerian.
