Watford's 'growth' pleases Pezzolano

Watford manager Paolo Pezzolano is satisfied by his side's "growth" following their 2-1 comeback win versus Oxford United on Saturday.

Following Max Alleyne's early own goal in the first three minutes, wingback Jeremy Ngakia scored a quickfire double for the Hornets before half time to take the lead and give them their third win of the season.

"Seven points out of nine possible is great, but the most important thing is the performance and the growth of the team," said Uruguyan Pezzolano to BBC Three Counties Radio.

"I liked the team very much during the first half.
