Watford sign winger Philip Zinckernagel after the Dane helped Bodo/Glimt to their first top-tier Norwegian title as he scored 19 goals and 24 assists... and he could make his Hornets debut against Manchester United in the FA Cup

Watford have completed the signing of winger Philip Zinckernagel on a five-and-a-half-year deal.

The 26-year-old, who joins from Bodo/Glimt on a free transfer, helped the Norwegian side to their first-ever top-flight title in their history in November last year, with the club having only been promoted to the Eliteserien in 2017 and finished runners-up in 2019.

Zinckernagel was instrumental as he chipped in with 19 league strikes and 24 assists to help Kjetil Knutsen's men finish 19 points ahead of reigning champions Molde and tot up an impressive 103 goals.

The Dane also played his part as Bodo/Glimt made it to the third qualifying round of the Europa League in September 2020, where they were defeated 3-2 by Serie A leaders AC Milan.
