There can be no argument that Watford deserved Saturday's 1-0 win over Hull City but there will be some concern among the Hornets' faithful about the lack of goalscoring threat.
After a pulsating start from the home side, the game degenerated into a poor spectacle with precious few chances created by either team.
Positives
This was Watford's third clean sheet in a row and a result that propelled them to seventh in the Premier League table. While the game was forgettable, it is another sign that Walter Mazzarri's men are able to get results when necessary.
