Watford 1-4 Crystal Palace: Patrick Vieira's side end seven-game winless run in the Premier League as Wilfried Zaha double inflicts defeat on ex-Eagles manager Roy Hodgson

Crystal Palace ended a seven-game winless run in the Premier League after goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta, Conor Gallagher and Wilfried Zaha saw off Roy Hodgson's Watford.

Mateta gave Crystal Palace the lead after 15 minutes, picking up the ball on the edge of the box from a Will Hughes pass, before his deflected strike beat Ben Foster.

The Hornets responded just three minutes later, as Moussa Sissoko rose highest to nod home from a corner kick to level the scores. Gallagher put the visitors back in front after dispatching a wonderful cross from Tyrick Mitchell.
