Troy Deeney refusing to take criticism from Watford supporters seriously: 'Most see a different game... they can't do it and that is why they are fans'

Troy Deeney has hit back at the Watford fans who have criticised him and his team-mates this season, claiming 'most see a different game to players'.

The Hornets captain has been a target for some supporters over the last nine months after scoring just six times in 26 appearances.

Watford sit 12th in the Premier League table on 37 points, but are not yet safe from relegation with tough games against Tottenham and Manchester United to come.
