Watford manager Walter Mazzarri believes the signings of M'Baye Niang and Mauro Zarate sends out a 'very important message' to the rest of the Premier League.
The Hornets this week bolstered their attacking options, bringing in Niang on loan from Milan with a view to a permanent £14million signing in the summer and Fiorentina forward Zarate on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Mazzarri hopes the new acquisitions will provide the goals to guide Watford move away from the Premier League relegation zone after a seven-game winless run in that competition.

And it could also pave the way for Odion Ighalo's departure, with Mazzarri saying there are offers on the table for the popular forward.
