Luther Blissett accuses Watford of 'shameful PR' by 'portraying my goal scoring ability in a negative way' to try and 'gain sympathy' for lockdown flouting striker Andre Gray as club legend launches passionate defence of his record

Watford legend Luther Blissett has accused his former club of 'shameful PR' after airing an interview with lockdown flouting striker Andre Gray.

Blissett believes that the club, who referenced his former tabloid nickname 'Luther Missit' in a question, have tried to gain sympathy for Gray, who has scored just three times in the last two seasons and apologised for his transgressions off the pitch.

Gray held a 20-person birthday party at his home during the first national lockown last summer, and hosted a poker party during the second in November.
