London travel chaos as rush-hour commuters battle severe delays on the Tube and Elizabeth line while stations shut due to 'power failures' and 'low staffing

Travellers are experiencing severe delays on their rush hours commute, as disruption continues to plague the Tube and the Elizabeth line.

The travel turmoil continues as faulty signalling systems between Reading and London Paddington mean further delays for anyone travelling to or from the London station.

Only half of the services are expected to run from Paddington until 10am according to Network Rail Western.

These delays will impact commuters who need to use the Heathrow Express, the Elizabeth line or any Great Western Railway services coming in and out of Paddington.

Network Rail Western have said: 'We are working hard to fix a fault with the signalling system between Reading and London Paddington.
