Al-Ettifaq have reportedly approached Everton regarding a move to sign Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The Saudi Pro league side made headlines this summer after unveiling Steven Gerrard as their manager and signing the likes of Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum and Demarai Gray.
However despite a bright start to the campaign, Gerrard's side have won just one of their last twelve league games.
The club's recent struggles on the pitch have been compounded by Jordan Henderson's surprise departure, with the club agreeing a mutual termination just six months into his three-year deal.
