The Washington Wizards defeated the Detroit Pistons on Monday afternoon 106-100 in a Martin Luther King Jr. Day matinee at home. Washington is now 6-0 on Monday games, so perhaps they should play more on the second day of the week!
Bradley Beal led Washington’s scorers with 29 points and 6 assists. Though his three-point shooting remains a bit off (2-of-7), he did shoot 10-of-21 from the field overall. His crossover and three on Andre Drummond was my favorite highlight of the game.
Beal also made some history in today’s game.
