Wizards re-sign Cassius Winston to a two-way contract

On Friday, Fred Katz of The Athletic reported that Cassius Winston signed a second two-way contract with the Washington Wizards. The now-sophomore guard and 2020 second-round pick was on a two-way last season as well.

Winston averaged 1.9 points per game in 22 appearances for the Wizards in the 2020-21 season.

Two-way contracts in the NBA allow players to spend time on both the NBA and G-League, but they are more likely to spend time with the latter team.
