Wizards just made a Trae Young sized trade that could make or break their future

The Washington Wizards have acquired star guard Trae Young from the Atlanta Hawks in a blockbuster trade.

Washington lands the former All-Star in exchange for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert in a move that gives the Wizards the answer at the point guard position the team has desperately been searching for.

After acquiring McCollum this offseason to serve as a mentor for the team's young core, the Wizards front office quickly made it a point to offload the veteran's expiring contract as the center point of a deal when it became evident that Young was available on the trade market.
