John Wall is going to be a member of the Washington Wizards for as long as the team can keep him in D.C.
The former first-overall pick agreed to a five-year max contract extension with the team in 2013. At the time, some argued that Wall didn’t do enough to earn $80 million.
Wall, who’s made the Eastern Conference All-Star team for three straight years and is coming off a 20 and 10 season, is now one of the best bargains in the entire league.
Washington was seconds away from getting an opportunity to push the Atlanta Hawks to a Game-7 in the Semifinals two years ago.
