The Washington Wizards have unofficially fired Randy Wittman, creating a vacancy at the head coaching position.
Now, the real fun will begin.
Even though no one should trust Ernie Grunfeld with hiring the correct coach, the search is going to be incredibly interesting. The Wizards could go a number of ways.
They could decide to hire a young coach – someone like Ime Udoka or Jay Larranga. They could hire a familiar face – someone like Sam Cassell.
