The Washington Wizards have dealt with a number of injuries over the past few seasons, but perhaps the most disappointing has been Martell Webster‘s situation. Webster, who had the best season of his career with the Wizards in 2013, signed a new contract with the team two summers ago and looked to become a key part of the franchise going forward.
While playing along side John Wall, Webster became one of the league’s top 3-point marksmen. He took Trevor Ariza‘s spot in the starting five in 2013 and later became Randy Wittman‘s sixth man during the following season.
