The Washington Wizards are going to go as far as John Wall and Bradley Beal can take them. But, at some point, the back court is going to need some help. That’s where the Wizards hope Scott Brooks‘ player development chops will come in handy.

Even if the Wizards were able to land Al Horford this summer, the team was still banking on the internal development from their own players.

Brooks considered Washington a potential coaching spot before Randy Wittman was even fired. While the back court is certainly intriguing, Brooks also recognized the potential Otto Porter and Kelly Oubre both possess.
