It’s no secret that the Washington Wizards was one of the most disappointing teams of the 2018 season, and their lack of success was mainly due to the absence of John Wall.
Coming off a career-year that made him a strong candidate for league MVP honors, Wall saw a decline in his production as he missed 41 games due to injuries, and watched as his reputation took a hit caused by the drama that was created between him and his teammates.
Following the failures of last year, it comes to no surprise that Wall’s status amongst his peers took a bit of a hit heading into the 2019 season.
