The Washington Wizards want Scott Brooks. Yes – I’ve written that numerous times before. But, this time, Brooks agreed to want the Wizards back.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, who recently reported that Ernie Grunfeld met with Brooks in California, the two sides have reached an agreement, making Brooks the new head coach.
The $7 million annual deal will make Brooks one of the highest paid coaches in the NBA. In fact, only Doc Rivers, Tom Thibodeau and Gregg Popovich will make more money than Brooks next season.
