The Washington Wizards have missed the 2016 NBA Playoffs after making the Eastern Conference Semifinals in two straight seasons.
Washington was expected to compete for a top spot in the conference and obviously failed to do so. The Wizards had the easiest schedule in the NBA following the All-Star break, but failed to take advantage.
Instead, the Wizards found themselves dropping games to teams below .500, effectively ending their chances of making the postseason.
Now that the season is coming to an end shortly, the team is going to start making changes – beginning with the head coach.
