The Summer League action is starting to wind down out in Las Vegas. Tonight, the Washington Wizards will face off against the Atlanta Hawks in what will be their final Summer League game before the “playoffs” that will determine the Summer League champions.
At 1-2, the Wizards probably aren’t considered the class of the Summer League, but who cares? It’s the Summer League! The past five winners of the Las Vegas Summer League have been the Portland Trail Blazers (2018), the Los Angeles Lakers (2017), the Chicago Bulls (2016), the San Antonio Spurs (2015), and the Sacramento Kings (2014).
