Marcin Gortat has been a model of consistency for the Washington Wizards since he was acquired from the Phoenix Suns three years ago. He’s come to work every single day, played his role and never done anything out of character.
Gortat, in many respects, has been the second best player on the Wizards over the past couple of years. And as sad as it might seem, he’s probably the best teammate John Wall‘s had since he got drafted first overall in 2010.
In 2014, the Polish Machine signed a five-year contract with the Wizards that was worth $60 million.
