Entering the offseason, the Washington Wizards main priority from both the front office and the fanbase was to find a way to land Cooper Flagg.
Flagg was largely looked at as the top prospect in the entire 2025 NBA Draft class and that proved to be true when his name was called as the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks on draft night.
Meanwhile, the Wizards were dealt with potentially the worst possible outcome after falling to the No. 6 overall pick in the NBA Draft order.
