With 22 teams at the 2019-20 NBA season’s restart in Orlando, Florida, there is a perception that homecourt advantage will be effectively eliminated since fans can’t attend games. One way to get around it is with hotel accommodations.
And according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the 22 teams were placed into three resorts at Walt Disney World, ranging from the Gran Destino Tower at the Coronado Springs Resort for the best performing teams to the Grand Floridan for the next tier, and the Yacht Club for the last tier. Since the Wizards are the last place team in this tournament, they are in the Yacht Club.
