The Wizards will go through a lot of changes this offseason, but hopefully that won’t include a change in the broadcast booth. As you may have heard, NBC Sports Washington has not picked up play-by-play man Steve Buckhantz’s option for next season, leaving his status in doubt for the future. Buckhantz has been a staple in the broadcasting booth since 1997 and it would be a shame to see this be his final season in the booth.
