On Thursday, I saw that Michael D. Sykes of For The Win, (and who wrote on this site in the past), suggested that D.C. teams, including the Washington Wizards stop using the American flag on their uniforms. He was originally critical of the City Edition gray (officially silver) jerseys the Wizards will wear later this season.
To be honest, I’m not a fan of the City Edition jerseys this season. Mainly because of the gray jersey.
Anyway, Troy Haliburton, whose work can be found in The Washington City Paper and other outlets, suggested that the Wizards sport a cherry blossom-themed jersey.
