I was going to write a post on our mailbag last week. However, things have changed. The Wizards and Mystics have been featured on the national news for their Juneteenth march last Friday to rally around racial equality and to end police brutality.
And yes, the teams are expected to start playing in July. The Mystics will hold training camp at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and their first game will be on or around July 24. The Wizards will have their “home stretch training camp” and play at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex near Walt Disney World.
