The Washington Mystics pulled off a dramatic 91–88 overtime win over the Dallas Wings on Sunday, in one of their most thrilling games of the season. The Mystics came out firing, dominating the first quarter 27–14 behind sharp perimeter shooting from Sug Sutton and Sonia Citron. However, Dallas stormed back in the second quarter with a 31–13 run led by Arike Ogunbowale, who scored 14 of her game-high 27 points during that stretch.
Citron delivered a breakout performance, matching Ogunbowale with 27 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Kiki Iriafen added 19 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Shakira Austin contributed a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
