Nneka Ogwumike and Candace Parker were too much to handle for a tired and worn-down Mystics squad.
Coming into tonight's game, the Sparks had lost just three games all season. But the small ray of hope for the Mystics was that two of those losses had come in the previous two games, suggesting that just maybe the Sparks, having already clinched the playoffs, were easing off the gas going into the Olympic break.
No such luck, as it turns out.
The Mystics battled hard early, cutting a 17 point Sparks lead down to as little as 8 in the first half.
