The Washington Mystics are now one win away, or a Dallas loss to the New York Liberty, from clinching the eighth and final playoff spot. Washington defeated the Liberty, 75-58, on Saturday afternoon to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Myisha Hines-Allen and Ariel Atkins were the key to the Mystics victory combining for 43 points. Hines-Allen had 25 points and 11 rebounds, while Atkins had 18 points, five rebounds and five steals. Leilani Mitchell was the third Mystic in double figures with 12 points, four rebounds and three assists.
