Another close game. Another loss for the Washington Mystics. They fell to the Las Vegas Aces, 83-77, on Wednesday night. The Mystics are now 3-2 after starting the season 3-0, making this a two-game losing streak. This isn’t the time to worry just yet, but with an already reduced season of 22 games we may have to be a bit skeptical.
Washington started off the game on a great run leading 11-2, but then both teams could not get the shots to fall for almost three minutes. The Mystics lead by as much as 11 in the first quarter before the Aces stormed back to close the gap ending the quarter down two, 21-19.
