NBA.com released their latest Consensus Mock Draft and had the Wizards selecting USC Trojan Onyeka Okongwu with the No. 9 pick.
Okongwu is thought to be one of the first big men to come off the board in this year’s draft. ESPN.com Mock Draft, which was one of the Mock Drafts used to compile this draft list, had Okongwu being picked as high as number 6 by the Atlanta Hawks.
The other team listed by the Mock Drafts as selecting Okongwu is the Detroit Pistons at the number 7 pick, who also were mocked to draft Killian Hayes and Tyrese Haliburton.
