The Washington Wizards have high hopes heading into the upcoming regular season.
While Washington doesn't have championship expectations or even legitimate playoff hopes, the Wizards focus towards the future continues to build around the development of the team's top young players on the roster.
Washington has several breakout candidates to monitor heading into next season, but there's no doubt that all eyes have been focused on former No. 2 overall pick Alex Sarr and incoming rookie and reigning No. 6 overall pick Tre Johnson entering the season.
The hype is more than understandable, especially considering the investment the Wizards have in the two top 10 picks.
