John Wall will make his season debut for the Wizards as they take on the Knicks, according to Candace Buckner of the Washington Post and Chris Miller of CSN Mid-Atlantic.
When Wall had surgery back on May 5, the team said they expected Wall to be back in time for the start of the regular season, and today’s news makes it appear like he’ll meet that deadline with time to spare.
That said, don’t expect to see a lot of John Wall highlights at Madison Square Garden this evening. It will be more of a cameo than a starring role:
