D.C. Government allows seating capacity of 10 percent at Capital One Arena for the remainder of NBA, NHL seasons

On Friday, Michael Brice-Saddler and Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reported that Monumental Sports & Entertainment was granted a waiver to allow fans at up to 10 percent capacity for the remainder of Washington Wizards and Capitals games for the 2020-21 NBA and NHL seasons. Fans were previously not allowed due to concerns over the spread of the coronavirus.

The Washington Mystics, when their season begins, will also be able to host fans at 10 percent capacity at Entertainment and Sports Arena.

Nats currently have 12% capacity while Audi Field has 10%.
