Danuel House has been assigned to the D-League to get some playing time with the Delaware 87ers, according to J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic.
The news shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Despite the team’s well-known bench struggles, House hasn’t been able to get any meaningful playing time. His only regular season action came in the final 50 seconds of the Wizards’ loss to Cleveland last Friday. Getting assigned to a D-League team will give him a chance to get some playing time and work on his craft.
The Wizards do not have a direct D-League affiliate, so House has to be placed in the D-League’s flexible assignment system.
