There are many NBA celebrity fans out there. But most of them support the bandwagon teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors or Miami Heat. Hell, even the New York Knicks have many celebrity fans. I get why. They are in entertainment or otherwise “cool” hubs.
Washington on the other hand is home to bureaucracy. The “establishment.”Gridlock. Political wonks. And just being a boring place.
